CODY JUSTISON
Sound Mixer
Cody Justison is a sound designer and film editor. He recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Film at Full Sail University. Cody is the Sound Mixer for his class’ thesis film Surprise P.I.
Cody has a passion for mixing, which includes music, sound FX, Foley, and dialogue. The projects that he has worked on includes: Extremity, Swipe, The Briefcase, Happy Endings, Kelsey’s Drink, Killer Clown Car, Intake, and Talisman. While having a passion for music Cody has developed skills in the grip and electric department and has experience in directing talent, screenwriting, and creating short films. Working on the thesis films have given Cody experience working on a set with over 60 individuals.
Cody is a person who works well with others and is determined to get the best potential out of a film. ‘The best ability is availability,’ this is something that Cody takes great pride in; showing up early for everything. While at Full Sail University, Cody received a course directors award in Advanced Audio Workstations for his outstanding work in the class.
After graduation Cody plans on staying in the Orlando area to work in post-production, through editing films, recording sound, or mixing films.
