JOHN SHEERAN

John Sheeran is a writer, director and editor in the film industry. He was born and raised in New York. John graduated Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s (BFA) and Master’s (MFA) in Film Production. John has always had a knack for telling stories and creating worlds and characters that live within them.

He has written, directed and edited five of his own short films and has been involved with the grip, electric and art teams on various other sets during his time at Full Sail University. John has experience in most departments on a set, he enjoys new experiences and is quick to adapt to his settings. For his cohort’s thesis film, Surprise P.I., John took on the role of key grip and ensured the safety of the crew on set during production.  

John’s passion for film drives him to create unique visions into the parts of life people struggle with and don’t understand. Creating content that sends a powerful message and helps the audience understand the troubles life can throw one’s way allows him to express himself as well as helping others who may be in a similar place in life. John plans on returning to New York in pursuit of his career in writing, directing and editing.
