MICHAEL DIMARCO

Director of Photography

Michael DiMarco is a filmmaker and aspiring Cinematographer. He was born and raised in the Philadelphia area.  He has been passionate about film since his childhood, remembering first creating short films at the age of 12 with his friends in his neighborhood. 


He earned his Master of Fine Arts in Film Production from Full Sail University in September. While at Full Sail, he has been involved in at least ten film productions including: Happy Endings, Screwed, Amateurs, The Standoff, Intake, Killer Clown Car, Surprise P.I., and Save The Date. 


His roles while working on each film have ranged from Writer, Director, Director of Photography, Grip, Electric, Set Building, Casting, and was a Production Assistant.  He also directed his own children’s baseball film titled Kate in March of 2018.  Simultaneous to his education, Michael helped out on campus as a Casting Assistant within the work study program provided at Full Sail. 


Michael has now relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue his dream in becoming part of a camera team for a major production company. Some of Michael’s skills include camera movement, lighting, composition, storyboards, camera assembly, and camera maintenance.  Michael has an overall passion for storytelling and is visually motivated to enter the film industry and help create well-made content.
